In 2010, Tommy Halferty began a new chapter with drummer Kevin Brady and bassist Dave Redmond—two of Ireland’s most sought-after rhythm players. Their flexibility and deep musical understanding gave Tommy the space to experiment and evolve, leading to a more open, expressive sound.
The trio released Burkina in 2014 and Station Midi in 2017, showcasing a fusion of swing, blues, rock, and jazz. The standout track “Ode to an Aging Rocker” reveals Halferty’s reflective, yet forward-looking spirit. With raw live energy, diverse influences, and strong musical rapport, this trio marked a key phase in Tommy’s creative journey.
