His current release entitled "Vibes On A Breath", a swinging septet with four horns, vibes, bass, and drums, was released on August 18, 2023. Only out a few days as of this writing, reviews have been extremely positive and airplay is rising quickly.

Joining Hugh will be one of Ireland’s most celebrated jazz musicians and no stranger to Scott’s Jazz Club, Linley Hamilton. A trumpeter, educator and broadcaster, Linley has played across the world with greats from the world of pop and jazz alike.

The Dublin Jazz Co-op Presents: Seamus Gibson, So-Young Yoon and Yseult Stockdale

Traditional fiddle player/composer Seamus Gibson and jazz pianist So-Young Yoon first met during her artist residency at An Grianán Theatre in Letterkenny. They sat down at the piano and began playing Seamus’s compositions—he played the melodies while So-Young improvised harmonies around them. It was great fun and the beautiful collaboration lead them into their first gig together at Trad Week in Letterkenny.

The band's personnel comprises a heady cocktail of nationally renowned jazz soloists, along with rising stars of the Dublin jazz scene. Featuring guest vocalist Charlie Moon, the Genuine Jazz Orchestra represents an exciting new addition to the vanguard of Irish jazz.

After an acclaimed UK tour last year which included dates in London, Ireland and Paris, the Dean Stockdale Quartet returns to perform a new set of the music of legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson, marking the centennial year of his birth. The quartet features Tim Williams on Guitar, Gavin Barras on bass and Gaz Hughes on drums. The show focuses on special new arrangements of Oscar’s music, in particular his original compositions and music from his most popular albums, showcasing his infectious swing and piano virtuosity, plus music from the quartet’s album ‘Celebrating Oscar’.
