Banda Brasilidade’s was born from the encounter of two passionate artists: Luisa Annibali, an Italian jazz singer, composer, and vocal coach, and William Alexandre, a Brazilian choro percussionist, dancer, and teacher. United by their love for music and their desire to further develop their artistic practices, they launched the first edition of the project on April 17, 2024. This debut event featured renowned musicians from diverse backgrounds, blending influences from samba, bossa nova, choro, and jazz.

Greek native vibraphonist, composer, educator and Fulbright Scholar Dimitris Angelakis has been on the scene for over a decade, having collaborated with some of the international jazz scene’s most prominent musicians as a bandleader, sideman and guest soloist. Dimitris’ first influence was his father, an acclaimed Greek trumpet player/arranger, but he also considers NY-based vibraphonist Christos Rafalides and Philadelphia-based vibraphonist/founder of vibesworkshop, Tony Miceli as connections that significantly impacted his career.

The Dirty Jazz club have been a massive part of the Dublin Jazz scene for around 15 years. Their focus is on the exploration and deconstruction of songs and an emphasis on creating a depth and textural soundscape on the melody, form and feel of the tunes.

Dorota Konchevska is a Polish-born producer, composer, singer, and multimedia artist who has made her creative home in Dublin, Ireland for over two decades.

Rory Conneally Trio

Rory Conneally is an 18 year old jazz pianist who became the youngest winner of the Young Irish Jazz Musician competition in November 2024, where he delivered an outstanding performance to a live audience and a distinguished panel of judges led by composer Bill Whelan. His jazz piano style draws from diverse influences including Stevie Wonder’s soul music and jazz masters Herbie Hancock, Oscar Peterson, and Thelonious Monk.

After years spent existing only in the murky underworld of Dublin parties – as well as busily touring and recording with the plethora of other projects they are involved in (UMBRA, ReDiviDeR, Aleka, Anna Mieke, Ydivide, Roamer) – Chris Guilfoyle (guitar) & Matthew Jacobson (drums) are re-emerging as MACH2. inspired by groups such as Hella, Animals as Leaders and AlasNoAxis, prepare for filthy grooves and big sounds for a small band.

Organ Freeman specialises in the music of the bebop and hard bop idioms of the early 1950s and 60s. Playing standards by composers such as Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, and many more in the classic organ trio format.

The Genuine Jazz Orchestra is a 17-piece Jazz Big Band, committed to bringing a new energy and passion to the music of Count Basie, Quincy Jones, Gil Evans, and other Big Band legends. Led by drummer Ben Cooper and multi-instrumentalist Podge Kilbride, our members share a hunger to preserve and energize the tradition of large jazz ensemble music. The band's personnel comprises a heady cocktail of nationally renowned jazz soloists, along with rising stars of the Dublin jazz scene. Featuring guest vocalist Charlie Moon, the Genuine Jazz Orchestra represents an exciting new addition to the vanguard of Irish jazz.
