Romanian-born Dublin-residing singer Aleka presents her newest E.P. 'Romania: Songs of Love and Longing'. The E.P. is a homage to her Romanian roots, with fresh arrangements of traditional Romanian music bringing a new modern flavor to some of the most well-known folk songs of her home country. This recording features soaring melodies, daring improvisations and high energy from some of the best jazz musicians in Ireland.
