Jazz jam session every Monday, hosted by Paul Dunlea. This is the original Jazz Improv in the city and features as part of the  Cork jazz festival every Oct. All players welcome.

Jazz at Egan’s of Aungier Street with The Leon Buckley Quartet every Wednesday from 8pm performing standards, with a mix of classic swing tunes and modern grooves.

Grab a pizza and a pint and enjoy some live jazz provided by some of Dublin's finest musicians. Expect tunes by the likes of Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and Sun Ra.

A native of Chicago, pianist Greg Murphy has been a key figure on the New York City jazz scene since the 1980s. His early musical experiences in Chicago included work with Lightning Flash Thunder Roar, the University of Illinois at Chicago Big Band, and the Northern Illinois University Big Band.

Red Line Jazz are a hard-swinging quartet of Dublin professionals playing a repitoire of hard-bop, post-bop, and contemporary jazz. The band changes it up every week, but the vibe stays the same; serious swing, serious sound!

A longtime collaborator with Coltrane drummer Rashied Ali, Greg has shared stages with everyone from Ornette Coleman to Carlos Santana.

A revolving roster of jazz and blues acts featuring some of Ireland's finest musicians from Richie Buckley and Chris Comhaill to Ben Prevo and Karl Clews. Expect fabulous music as the perfect backdrop to your Saturday afternoon.

Miles Davis: A Century in Sound

Celebrate 100 years of Miles Davis at Arthur’s Jazz Club, Dublin, in a night that honors the full spectrum of his extraordinary career. From bebop beginnings to the cool jazz classics, from modal masterpieces to groundbreaking fusion, experience the genius of a true jazz legend brought to life.

The Dirty Jazz club have been a massive part of the Dublin Jazz scene for around 15 years. Their focus is on the exploration and deconstruction of songs and an emphasis on creating a depth and textural soundscape on the melody, form and feel of the tunes.

Drawing on music from the likes of Chet Baker, George Benson, Frank Sinatra and some 50s and 60s hard-bop alongside a broad mix of music from the jazz tradition.
