Event Description
Belfast‑based pianist Jozef Dani is a world‑class Slovak musician, celebrated for virtuosic playing and original compositions. Dedicating himself to music from an early age, Jozef’s playing is deeply influenced by Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba and the late-great Chick Corea. Jozef has toured extensively across Europe and has recorded with the likes of Eugen Vizvary, among many others.
Formed in 2024, the trio features a hard‑swinging rhythm section: Ben Flavelle‑Cobain on bass and Eamon Ferris on drums.
Ben is an integral part of the Belfast scene, holding a weekly residency at The John Hewitt and working with artists such as Joshua Burnside, Célia Tiab, Caolan Hutchinson, Chris Taplin Blues Band among many others. A multi‑instrumentalist and songwriter, he released the single “Soul People” in 2025.
Eamon Ferris needs no introduction… he is best known as the drummer for Mike Scott and The Waterboys, and has worked with Sinéad O’Connor, Van Morrison and many others. Eamon has been a Gretsch Artist since 2021, and is an endorsee with Istanbul Cymbals.
Expect an afternoon of hard‑swinging original compositions, Latin grooves and blistering jazz improvisation!
