JOYCE NOTES is a six-part suite, composed by the legendary Irish jazz guitarist Louis Stewart, based on scenes from James Joyce’s groundbreaking novel Ulysses. The suite was written and first performed at the 1982 Cork Jazz Festival to commemorate the 100th anniversary of James Joyce’s birth.It was performed just twice more, once in Dun Laoghaire and Oslo, Norway in 1993.
