Following the huge successes of his Independent Venue Week gig earlier this month, MOBO Award nominated drummer David Lyttle will return to Bennigans on May 4th with an astounding new standards project featuring contemporary jazz icon Kurt Rosenwinkel.

In an outstanding new project for 2018, MOBO Award nominated jazz star David Lyttle—whose previous collaborations with jazz and hip hop's upper echelon include Joe Lovano, Talib Kweli, Seamus Blake and Soweto Kinch—will share the stage with another music icon. Philadelphia born Kurt Rosenwinkel has been the world's most highly regarded and influential contemporary jazz guitarist for over twenty years, his associations ranging from jazz legends Joe Henderson and Paul Motian through to peers Brad Meldhau and Brian Blade. David Lyttle needs no introduction to Irish music fans. With a global reputation and a constantly international tour list, he is Ireland's most celebrated and talk-about jazz musician of today. Bassist Michael Janisch, also a MOBO Award nominee in the Best Jazz Act category, is a vital force in British and European jazz, a world-class talent with an A-list resume.
