TSCH III - ÄTSCH

Starting as a graduation project in New Park Music Centre in 2016 the group has since become an established player in the Irish Jazz scene. Also becoming the first ever Irish outfit to feature at the Jazz ahead Club-night in Bremen (DE) in 2018 and 2019.

With their third Album “ÄTSCH III”, following “ÄTSCH” (2017) and “ÄTSCH Live at Arthurs” (2019) the Band is moving away from compositional norms often expected from modern Jazz outfits, Based on short forms and strong melodies the tunes are written to be used as a guide to inspire improvisation. Instead of relying on elaborate compositions the Band is drawing on their Post-Rock and Pop influence.

“ÄTSCH III” is the most accurate representation of the mix of energy and interplay the Band is always looking for.
