Event Description

Album Launch

Tom Maxwell is a pianist, organist, composer and musical director. Having been introduced to many varying styles of music from a young age, classical and contemporary, he is a versatile young musician and plays regularly in different music scenes across Dublin. Maxwell’s influences come from as wide a range of music as he is familiar with, from musical theatre works by George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein, to choral music by Jake Runstead and Ola Gjeilo, to jazz, where his favourite players include Oscar Peterson and Joey DeFrancesco.

Matthew O’Connell is a Dublin-based jazz guitarist and composer. He is an emerging artist on the Irish jazz scene and has played part in many groups and projects such as ‘Blue Notes’, featuring highly acclaimed Irish jazz artist Ronan Guilfoyle.
