Event Description

The Jam Tarts are a female trio of singers and guitarists from Dublin, Ireland.Carla Brunell, Claire Bonass and Mo Sheerin bring forth an eclectic and exciting mix of blues, jazz and folk drawing inspiration from Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny and Crosby, Stills and Nash.Their repertoire includes mostly original compositions with the inclusion of classic blues and trad songs approached with fiery percussive elements, fingerstyle guitar and rich vocal harmonies.

Just like Django Reinhardt’s quintessential gypsy jazz band of the 1930’s, the ‘Quintette du Hot Club de France’, The Tenters are a 5 piece following in the footsteps of the greats with their lineup of viola, bass and 3 guitars.
The Tenters are:

Brendan Lawless - Viola

Dave Mooney - Double Bass

Evin O’Brien - Guitar

John Mahon - Guitar

Chris Comhaill - Guitar

Kate Dineen is an Indie-Folk Singer Songwriter based in Dublin, Ireland. She perform as solo, duo or with her four-person band and her original music leans towards Modern Irish/Folk/Americana. Her performances encompass a blend of original compositions and covers.
