Event Description

Prolific Irish Free Jazz Saxophonist Adam Nolan has released 18 albums to date and recently released a new album titled ARE U FREE with some of the finest American musicians on the NYC free jazz scene.

His philosophy is that each gig and recording session is a new experience and, along with this, has recently added spoken word and Rap into the sets mixing free jazz with hip hop and metal, giving an eclectic modern authentic style.

Here's 'Are U Free' which free jazz Saxophonist Alan Braufman quoted.

"Listened to your album last night, I love it! Talking about where free music may go in future, like we were yesterday, fusing it with rap, punk, other genres, may part of the answer. Also, when I was a teen, James Nadien's grandpa, who was a great saxophone player, was a bit of a mentor to me, great drummer!" - Alan Braufman
