Event Description
Tengu Jazz is back this quarter! After four sold out shows in 2022 it’s definitely time to bring back this series. The third night welcomes special guests Oceanna who perfectly blend psychedelia and smooth jazz & vinyl set from Emmy Shigeta.
This event is a limited capacity seated event running from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets are €17.50 per person, however due to the intimate capacity tickets are sold as tables of two or four, not separately. There will be a tailored drinks, sushi, gyoza & snacks menu specifically for the evening so you can enjoy some bites alongside some of Ireland’s best Jazz musicians for a very special & intimate evening in Tengu.
Oceanna is a five-piece instrumental group based in Dublin. Blending rich cultural influences from Brazil and Ireland, they merge jazz, hip-hop, neo soul, nu jazz, and the ocean. Inspired by modern jazz artists Kokoroko, Alfa Mist, and Yussef Dayes, the band has developed a dynamic sound of their own that blends groove and lyrical melodies with the vast, delicately crafted, guitar effects-driven soundscapes of guitarist Gabriel Bellator.
Since the band’s formation in 2023, Oceanna has performed at renowned venues and festivals across Ireland, including All Together Now, Body & Soul, Prima Volta Limerick, The Sugar Club, and The Complex.
They have collaborated with rising Irish artists Qbanaa and JyellowL, and have opened for international artists including Ruby Waters, as part of her Spring Chicken Tour: Across The Pond, and Liv.e on her European tour.
Oceanna are set to release their debut EP in this October 2025!
Emmy Shigeta is a Japanese DJ whose love for music developed while working in a Record Store in Tokyo. Now based in Dublin, she loves to play ambient, city pop & the latest underground j-pop in various venues and on her monthly Dublin Digital Radio show and weekly residency at Fidelity.
See you there!
