Tengu Jazz returns this October! We host Rita Lynn for the first time with a newly established quartet to Tengu Jazz intimate evening of original music, jazz standards and traditional airs.
Cork-born singer-songwriter Rita Lynn weaves folk, jazz and soul through soulful vocals, piano and improvisation. Their sound draws upon Irish storytelling and themes of vulnerability, self-discovery and grief. Following performances at Cork Jazz Festival, Electric Picnic, Sounds From A Safe Harbour, Croílár Festival and more, Rita is currently preparing her debut album for release in late 2026.
For this special performance she is joined by Peter O’Sullivan (keys), Josh Sampson (drums) and Stephane Petiet (double bass), with the quartet bringing together their varied musical backgrounds for a set.
Support comes from Dublin-based vinyl selector Alba, whose sets move between ambient, jazz, experimental music and the spaces in between, showcasing her best selections in jazz for this one.
This is a limited capacity seated event running from 6PM to 8.15PM. Tickets are €20 per person, however due to the intimate capacity tickets are sold as tables of two or four, not separately.
There will be a tailored drinks, sushi, gyoza & snacks menu specifically for the evening so you can enjoy dinner or bites alongside some of Ireland’s finest musicians in a very special & rare setting in Tengu.
