Pianist Greg Felton, bassist Cormac OBrien and drummer Matthew Jacobson have accumulated almost 30 years of history as collaborators and friends and have been involved in many of the most artistically successful projects in creative Irish music in that time. Since 2016, they have been writing and performing together as a trio.
Origin Story’s music is informed by all of these shared experiences and results in provocative and interactive writing and playing, equally influenced by the origins of the jazz tradition and contemporary innovations.

The Dot Theatre is a unique boutique theatre venue, located off Pembroke Street, between Fitzwilliam Square and Leeson Street in Dublin 2.
The building has been an important part of Dublin’s arts and performance community since the 1960s.
With 39 vintage theatre seats, a raised stage, large retractable cinema screen, surround sound and bar area, The Dot is the perfect venue for a multitude of requirements. Suitable for small theatre shows, comedy, intimate music performances, workshops, corporate events, birthday parties, live podcast recordings and much more.
