Event Description
NuTone Jazz present a relaxed International Jazz Day session upstairs at Madden’s Bridge Bar, Bundoran. The evening begins with a short set from NuTone Jazz, followed by a curated open session featuring invited local musicians and guest performers.
The music will focus on jazz standards and modern grooves in an intimate setting, with a welcoming atmosphere for both listeners and players.
Free entry, with a tip jar on the night. All are welcome, and musicians are invited to come along and sit in.
NuTone Jazz is a contemporary group from the northwest of Ireland, blending deep groove, rich harmonies, and modern jazz influences from artists like GoGo Penguin, Robert Glasper, Alfa Mist, Erykah Badu, Ezra Collective, Esperanza Spalding, Joy Crookes, and Jorja Smith.
Founded by bassist Jenny Filipovich (née Hallahan), the band performs as an instrumental trio with Chad Murphy (drums) and Shane Glynn (keys).
