NuTone Jazz performing at Féile na mBan A Weekend of Women-led Artistry, Discussion and Celebration in Bundoran, Co.Donegal.
NuTone Jazz is a contemporary group from the northwest of Ireland, blending deep groove, rich harmonies, and modern jazz influences from artists like GoGo Penguin, Robert Glasper, Alfa Mist, Erykah Badu, Ezra Collective, Esperanza Spalding, Joy Crookes, and Jorja Smith.
Founded by bassist Jenny Filipovich (née Hallahan), the band performs as an instrumental trio with Chad Murphy (drums) and Conor Bastible (keys), and expands into a quartet with vocalist Julie Dillon, whose soulful, genre-blurring style adds a dynamic edge to the group’s sound.
