NO IDEAS is a new monthly concert series in Dublin that will highlight experimental and improvised approaches to composition and performance.
The series aims to bring together performers with diverse practices and traditions to create one-off performances and for each person to fully enjoy these things without warning and for no reason.
Mothbell is a Dublin-based rock/folk band, whose music takes places in a fantasy world inspired by Irish folklore and Beatrix Potter, exploring our relationships with nature, power, and control. With influences ranging the raw intimacy of Big Thief to the abstract rhythms and textures of Black Midi, drummer/vocalist Ciarán McGannon and guitarist Dylan Folan create a sound that is both earthy and otherworldly, and immerses the listener in a richly imagined world.
Pink Glasses is a project by drummer/filmmaker Temmuz Süreyya Gürbüz and guitarist Aonghus McEvoy. It is a result of a shared appreciation of shambolic complexity and cryptic dynamics.
