For the very first time, Brazilian jazz legend Filó Machado is coming to Ireland as part of Kildare Jazz Festival.
Filó Machado is a Grammy-nominated Brazilian singer, guitarist, and composer with over 50 years of career and 13 albums. Blending jazz, samba, and MPB, he has shared the stage and studio with legends like Hermeto Pascoal, Djavan, Michel Legrand, and Kenny Barron.
A dynamic performer, Filó has toured worldwide, gracing festivals and iconic venues from Carnegie Hall to the Cannes Jazz Festival. His music embodies the rich rhythms and melodies of Brazil, captivating audiences with his virtuosity and soulful expression

Venue Information - The Complex
The Complex is run by creative artists. It is the new Northside arts centre. Since February 2009 it has staged a rich programme of artistic and cultural productions, exhibitions and events in the Dublin 7 area. From our original home in Smithfield Square to Benburb Street, our new permanent premises is located at Little Green Street, next to the old Fruit and Vegetable Market.
The new arts centre features nine artist’s studios as well as two performance areas, rehearsal and exhibition space.
