Barcelona-based vocalist Claire Victoria Roberts is one of Europe's rising jazz vocalists. With Irish and Welsh heritage, she first began touring with 1940s band The Swing Commanders, before emerging as a powerful and expressive jazz vocalist in her solo career. Claire has performed in some of the UK’s most prestigious jazz festivals (EFG London Jazz, Manchester jazz, Llais Festival) as well as sharing a stage with Barcelona's finest improvisers in Spain, touring to Seville, Valencia and Tenerife. Together with trumpeter and bandleader Noel Fortune, they form a quintet who play tight grooves, uptempo swing and hard bop melodies. The flexibility, control and beauty of Claire's voice is what makes her one of Barcelona's leading Jazz vocalists.
