An unmissable live jazz event bringing together two standout voices from the Irish and international scene for a one-night-only performance of original music, spontaneous improvisation, and high-level musical interplay.
Guitarist Eduardo Guedes and vocalist Luisa Annibali lead a powerhouse quartet delivering a set shaped in real time — where nothing is fixed and every moment is alive.
This is jazz at its most immediate and exciting: composed material dissolving into improvisation, Brazilian rhythms meeting contemporary European jazz, and four musicians listening and reacting at the highest level.
- Eduardo Guedes, a guitarist with over 20 years of professional experience in the Rio de Janeiro music scene, has developed a distinctive improvisational voice shaped by influences ranging from progressive rock and jazz to Brazilian music. His playing reflects a deep engagement with melodic invention and extended improvisation, informed by collaborations with leading Brazilian musicians and his work with ensembles such as the Allbrazz Quartet. - Based in Dublin since 2016, Luisa Annibali is a jazz vocalist, composer, and educator whose work bridges contemporary jazz with Brazilian music, Italian songwriting, and free improvisation. Recognised as one of the emerging voices on the Irish jazz scene, she has developed a multilingual and stylistically fluid artistic practice. In 2025 she released two albums—TENTATIVA, rooted in Brazilian musical traditions, and LIBERA, featuring original compositions exploring her contemporary jazz language. She is also the founder of Lulu’s Jazz Club and a recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award.
