Event Description
A Brazilian Serenade honours the iconic Brazilian music styles—bossa nova and samba—that brought Brazil international recognition. This intimate concert presents classic songs reinterpreted with a modern touch, blending tradition and fresh personal expression.
Robson Diem, a singer and guitarist originally from Brazil and now based in Malmö, Sweden, has become well-known in the Skåne region. Since 2020, he has performed at the Malmö Festival, toured across Sweden, played in Copenhagen, and shared Brazilian music worldwide aboard cruise ships.
Joining him is Gustavo de Morais, a Brazilian guitarist living in Ireland who mixes his roots with jazz and contemporary sounds. Renowned for his improvisation and melodic sensitivity, Gustavo has performed across Ireland and Europe, earning awards like the Ray Comiskey Jazz Scholarship and grants from the Arts Council and Music Network. A first-class honours graduate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Dublin City University.
Together, they bring a heartfelt tribute to Brazil’s rich musical heritage through intimate performances that connect past and present.

- the 45A, 111, 7A & 7 Buses all stop outside the venue, and we are a 5 min walk from Sandycove & Glasthule Dart Station
- The time on your ticket is the show start time
- Ages 18+ (the law dictates that there may be no under 18’s are allowed on the premises past 9pm)
- The venue has a private bar and drinks can be purchased before & during the event
- Doors are 1 hour before the show starts
- Seats are unassigned and therefore first come first served
- Accessibility: Unfortunately the venue is only accessible by stairs, if you are attending and will need support please get in touch before the event.
- The Venue has a separate side entrance to the pub where your tickets will be checked on arrival
