Event Description
The CEO Experiment is one of a kind Piano Trio which combines delicate atmospherics and highly creative improvisations, oscillating between almost every genre in Jazz.
Elements of Post-bop and Contemporary Jazz are channeled through original compositions, serving as a vehicle for high energy inter playing. The CEO Experiment’s music is thoughtful and inventive but also full of character, reflecting the different background and imagination of the players.
Up to this date the band has performed at the following Jazz Festivals: Down with Jazz, Bray Jazz Festival, 12 Points Festival, Galway Jazz Festival, Sligo and Howth Jazz Festivals.
Venues and other important concerts includes the “Trio Trio Piano” Concert Series, Strut at the Peacock Theatre featuring Brian Dunning and Richie Buckley, the legendary JJ Smyths, Whelan’s and the Sugar Club in Dublin.
Recognized as the most versatile and energetic new band in Ireland, the outfit has shared the stage with World Class artists such as Cory Henry’s Revival Project, Mark Guiliana Quartet and Christian Scott Quinttet.
Acclaimed saxophonist Michael Buckley has recently joined forces with the trio to create a very unique and explosive sound. Since their get together this band has been named as one of the a must see shows!

Venue Information - JJ Smyths
JJ Smyth's is a family owned bar in the center of Dublin city. Home to many a musician, Jazz and Blues alike. It started off as a family owned grocery and public house back in the 1730's, it has changed throughout the years and now you can hear live Jazz and Blues sounds of the city from within it's doors. JJ's has live Blues and Jazz music six nights of the week. This is where many a musician got their start and where many of the top names continue to play.
