Co. Armagh born drummer/producer David Lyttle's contributions to jazz and hip hop have earned him high praise around the world and a reputation as an underground music star.
Nominated in the 2015 MOBO Awards and Urban Music Awards, with his latest album 'Faces' being championed by Rolling Stone magazine, he's just finished a busy year of touring and in 2017 will carry out major artist residencies in the U.S. and China.
He discovered guitar prodigy Andreas Varady in 2010, then 12 years old and busking in the streets of Limerick and Cork. He quickly began featuring Andreas in his band and produced his first studio recording 'Questions' the same year. The album was launched at Ronnie Scotts, London, with Andreasmaking history as the legendary club's youngest headliner and going on to tour the world as one of jazz's most promising young talents. Now 19, he's managed by music legend Quincy Jones, performed with Cassandra Wilson, Lee Ritenour, Birelli Lagrene and Tommy Emmanuel, and was invited by George Benson to open for him on his 2014 tour dates.
Joining David and Andreas is Conor Chaplin, one of the UK's most highly regarded young bassists. He's currently playing in hugely popular UK jazz act Dinosaur and has also worked with Iain Bellamy, Bobo Stenson and Jean Toussaint.
