Event Description
John Moriarty is one of Ireland's foremost jazz guitarists. In recent times, John has toured / recorded with US pianist Bill Carrothers, Bobby Watson of ‘Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers’ and sax legend Ronnie Cuber; and was a prize-winner at Montreux Jazz Festival's Guitar competition.
He plays regularly with the Richie Buckley Quintet as well as his own quartet and trio projects. His 2013 release, Echoes (Lyte Records) was critically well received and showcases his electric and acoustic dimensions of his playing to great effect. For this inaugural outing at Scott’s Jazz Club, John will be joined by Dublin-based drummer Kevin Brady, one of the most sought after drummers on the Irish scene and beyond.

Scott's Jazz Club is a Thursday night Jazz concert/ livestream event at Ballyhackamore club on No. 1 Sandown Road, East Belfast. The concert price is £15 and includes Bangladeshi finger food . The drink prices are really low as well!
