Event Description
Alan Niblock has been a stalwart of the Northern Irish jazz scene for many years, but maintains a larger network of collaborators.
As well as being an in-demand straightahead jazz player on the local scene, Alan has released several albums of avant-garde free jazz and has performed and recorded with UK jazz heavyweights Evan Parker and Mark Sanders. For this appearance at Scott’s Jazz Club, Alan will be playing a set of hard-swinging jazz standards with Scott Flanigan on piano and Andrew McCoubrey on drums.

Scotts Jazz Club
A world class jazz club in a relaxed and informal dedicated concert setting. The cheapest pint in town, and a 3 course preshow meal for £15!
Each week the concert has different top musicians performing exciting and accessible jazz. The venue is specially setup to deliver the best atmosphere to hear Ireland's top jazz performers. Scott's Jazz Club is a Thursday night Jazz concert/ livestream event at Ballyhackamore club on No. 1 Sandown Road, East Belfast. The concert price is £15 and includes Bangladeshi finger food . The drink prices are really low as well!
