“She’s a natural born star, the leading vocal talent on show tonight..the song belongs to Savage as her voice, full of Eastern modulation, has you in a wartime dancehall one minute and beside a campfire the next.”

Pat Carty, Hot Press

Seven days before lockdown, Suzanne was invited soloist performing “The Music Of Leonard Cohen” with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at two sold out nights at Bord Gais Energy Theatre Dublin, singing alongside fellow soloists Lisa Hannigan, Phelim Drew, Mick Flannery and Moncrieff (4th & 5th March 2020).

Awarded the N.Ireland Arts Council SIAP for work on her first critically acclaimed debut solo album ‘Jellymould’, Suzanne Savage’s main other songwriting collaborative project, ‘The Savage Five’, new music for voice and international string 4tet, was nominated for the German Record Critics’ Awards (Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik), with their debut album ‘Sleepwalking’.

Suzanne is also a well respected session vocalist for high profile acts across jazz, singer-songwriter, Irish and classical music, bringing these influences to her writing. From touring Europe and U.S. as Principle Soprano Soloist with Riverdance, to a scholarship at Italian FABRICA MUSICA institute, she has made music internationally, including with: Paul Brady (band member since 2011), Elenor McEvoy, Roseanne Cash, Van Morrison, Jimmy Cobb, Ernie Watts Quartet, Gary Husband and emerging talent such as David Lyttle (UK), Markus Strothmann (GER), the Matteo Addabbo Organ Trio (IT), and Oscar-winning composer David Shire.

She is very much looking forward to being part of the vibrant Jazz Co-op, and singing her original songs in one of her very favourite Dublin spots - The Workmans Club.
