Event Description
We are delighted to announce our first live gig in a long while. The O'Halloran trio feat. Luke Howard will be kicking things off on Sunday 26th of September in the Workman's Club Vintage Rooms.
The O'Halloran trio explore the landscape of Contemporary and Jazz improvisation accented with catchy landmarks and hooks, with an emphasis on simplicity and clarity. With a far-reaching group of influences including the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Charles Mingus, and Aphex Twin, as well as Traditional Folk musics from around the world, every performance is an explosive display of musical interaction.
This time we have long time ally and powerful rising talent Luke Howard providing his unique sound on synthesizer and keyboard.
Expect everything from sweet folk inspired melodies and blissful soundscapes to explosive improvisation and heavy downtempo grooves.
