Saxophonist, composer, producer and educator Greg Osby has made an indelible mark on contemporary jazz as a leader of his own ensembles and as a guest artist with other acclaimed jazz groups for the past 20 years. Highly regarded for his insightful and innovative approach to composition and performance, Osby is a shining beacon among the current generation of jazz musicians. He has earned numerous awards and critical acclaim for his recorded works and passionate live performances.

TAL COHEN
Now based in the US, Tal Cohen’s unique piano style owes its roots to the Jewish folk songs and classical music he played in his formative years growing up in Gedera, Israel. He graduated from WAAPA in 2008 and immediately began accumulating awards and prestigious performance opportunities. He was the 2015 winner of the Freedman Fellowship Award and in 2014 won the Barry Harris Piano Competition in the US. His recent album 'Gentle Giants' has received overwhelming attention including a 4 star review from the acclaimed Downbeat Jazz Magazine.
He has become a regular performer with iconic jazz figures such as Terence Blanchard, Greg Osby and Robert Hurst and continues to tour the world performing his unique brand of improvised music.

BARRY DONOHUE
Barry Donohue is a Dublin based electric and double bassist and composer, performing regularly on the Irish scene with Chris Guilfoyle’s ‘Umbra’, Mary Coughlan, Nigel Mooney, Johnny Taylor Trio, Gemma Sugrue & JCQ. Barry leads ‘Plaza Real: The Music Of Weather Report’, and co-leads ‘Barry//Scott’ the double bass/guitar duo. He has worked with highly regarded international acts such as Nelson Veras, John O’Gallagher, Jamie Oehlers, Christian Li, Michael Arbenz, Nils Wogram, Theo Bleckmann, to name a few. Barry is supported by Music Network and The arts Council of Ireland.
SHANE O'DONOVAN
Shane O'Donovan is a Dublin based drummer and producer. Currently very active on the Dublin jazz scene, Shane is involved in a number of projects alongside some of Ireland's leading jazz musicians. These include OKO; Gamerz with Kit Downes, John Moriarty Trio and Plaza Real. He has also worked with many top international musicians such as Tim Berne, Ernie Watts, Rick Margitza, Kit Downes, Ian Shaw, Guy Barker, John Stowell, Greg Osby, Greg Burke, and Jamie Oehlers, to name a few. Shane also teaches drums and jazz performance on the Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance degree at DCU.
