Rory first discovered jazz right here at the age of 15 in Sligo Jazz Project’s summer school just four years ago. Now he’s Berklee-bound after receiving a full tuition scholarship at the world’s most renowned jazz school in Boston. That’s the power of community, mentorship, and serious dedication. Rory will be joined by some of Sligo’s finest young jazz musicians for a set of originals and standards.

Jamie Cullum calls British saxophonist Emma Rawicz "an astonishing talent", Jazzwise Magazine "a force to be reckoned with", and the BBC: "the name Emma Rawicz is on everyone's lips right now". Despite her young age of 23, she has already achieved an enormous amount: This year, 2026 Emma Rawicz was awarded UK Jazz Artist of the Year at the JazzFM Awards in London.
Lee Meehan Organ Trio - Sligo Jazz Festival 2026
Dublin-based jazz and blues guitarist and vocalist Lee Meehan has been a key figure on the Irish music scene for over 20 years. A graduate of Newpark Music College/DCU's Jazz Performance programme, Lee has performed with leading Irish and international artists as both bandleader and sideman. He plays regularly at major venues and festivals including Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club, Cork Jazz Festival, Electric Picnic, and Vicar Street.
