Event Description
“A fabulous vocal talent" – Jools Holland
"Kat's voice is like sexy toffee. Just gorgeous!" - Gaby Roslin, BBC Radio
“Soul drenched and powerful. Bluesy, jazz-tinged and oozing with sheer class.” – Music Republic Magazine
Having already toured the UK/EU supporting the likes of Gregory Porter, Jools Holland, Paul Carrack, The Teskey Brothers, Marc Broussard and Mamas Gun, alongside selling out multiple headline shows, co-writing with the likes of Caro Emerald, Ruby Turner and Roberta Campos, and breaking through to new territories via national radio play worldwide, Kat has established herself as one of the hardest working and talented Soul/Jazz performers in her field.
After the global success of her debut album ‘Talk To Me’, Kat released her heavily anticipated second album, ‘Honestly’ in 2024 and is currently on her UK & EU tour. Armed with fresh original material, her own arrangements of songs by Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Ray Charles and Nina Simone and a band behind her that have played with the likes of Tom Jones, Van Morrison and Amy Winehouse, Kat Eaton’s live show is world class, raw and spell-binding. Kat is already back in the studio working on Album 3, which is due for release in 2026.

Venue Information - Coughlan’s
This small intimate venue is be available to musicians to put on concerts/gigs in an effort to promote both new and already established acts from the city and further a field. As many of Cork's smaller venues have unfortunately had to close their doors, we want to recreate a 'listening room' and perhaps (darewe say it!) even bring back some of the magic from the days of places like 'The Lobby'! We want this space to be a platform for upcoming acts to showcase their material without the huge costs of hiring a venue and also a place for more established acts to come and play in a small setting, to an appreciative audience, knowing their requirements will be met to the best of our ability. It is essential to us that every performer and audience member leaves 'Coughlan's Live' wanting to come back for more.
