Jazz lovers are in for a special evening this November when acclaimed Irish drummer and composer Kevin Brady brings his trio to the Carnegie Library, joined by two of Ireland’s finest jazz musicians, guitarist John Moriarty and bassist Dave Redmond.

With a shared love of improvisation, interaction and adventurous contemporary jazz, the trio promises an intimate and dynamic performance.

Kevin Brady is one of Ireland’s leading jazz drummers, composers and educators, with a career spanning more than two decades and performances and recordings with musicians from Ireland and around the world.

His playing has received international acclaim. DownBeat described his music as “classicist, adventurous, insistent on its own modernity,” while All About Jazz called Brady “an impressive drummer with strong chops, impeccable taste, creative & most notably, terrific tone.”

Brady has enjoyed long-standing musical collaborations with both Moriarty and Redmond, and this concert brings the three musicians together for what promises to be a memorable night of live jazz.
