Event Description

Venue The Studio

This lineup will include members of Pink Glasses, School Tour, Woven Skull & Zeropunkt, Plus Special Guests.

Little Gem Band is an experimental music group formed in 2016 by Sparrow Flint, Shane Holly & Andy Walsh. The trio have released 2 albums to date & performed their music across Ireland & mainland Europe. Defying convention by using conventional means, their music has been described as; "prismatic Kosmiche ambience with dense layers of noise and clattering rhythms", - The Thin Air.

Over the years many collaborators have joined to make the group a quartet & in 2024 the Little Gem Big Band found its way into existence by ways of a collaboration with Santiago based psych collective 'A Full Cosmic Sound', creating a ten piece band with additional saxophones & strings from Sparrow's London based band mates. In 2025 the Little Gem Big Band performed to a rapturous Workman's Club opening for US underground legends Jackie O Motherfucker.
