Imelda Kehoe is known for her distinctive voice, story-telling and blend of jazz and soul and has been described as ‘one of the finest Irish contemporary songwriters to emerge in recent years’.
And because Imelda treats a song as an emotional whole and can capture the joyful essence of what it feels like to love and be loved, it follows that she is the perfect fit for the annual Jazz at Johnstown Valentine’s concert on Saturday, February 14th.
Imelda’s performance in the Ballroom alongside pianist Killian Browne was one of the highlights of the 2025 Jazz at Johnstown Festival. Killian’s mastery of the piano helped Imelda capture the gorgeous essence of classic songs like God Only Knows.
Killian joins Imelda’s quartet on February 14th for an evening of romance, jazz style: you will find nothing is quite as seductive as the bluesy timbre of Imelda’s voice weaving silken phrases to make the heart sing.
