Teddy D Promotions in association with Dublinjazz.ie are very proud to present the jazz phenomenon of our generation, Joey Alexander.

Although still at the tender age of thirteen he has released two albums and received 3 Grammy nominations. He is the most talked about and written about jazz artist in the world today. He has played and appeared with a string of jazz elites including Wynton Marsalis, Larry Grenadier, Wayne Shorter, Esperanza Spalding, Chick Corea, Brian Blade, Eric Harland, Chris Potter etc. the list goes on and on.

Joey has also performed at some major events including the 58th Grammy Awards Ceremony, International Jazz Day in The White House, Umbria Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Jazz in Marciac Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival.

Media interest in Joey has resulted in appearances and interviews for The Today Show, 60 Minutes, CNN, The New York Times, and a host of other television, radio and print media. This has fueled a rare level of public notoriety for Joey as a jazz musician, entirely unheard of for one his age, both within the jazz community and among the public at large.

Destined to be the jazz event of the year Joey is much more then just a jazz prodigy.

The National Concert Hall sits proudly on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin’s city centre and is home to the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Choir Ireland, Irish Baroque Orchestra, Music Network and Music Generation. Next door to the picturesque Iveagh Gardens and in the heart of a commercial district known as the National Concert Hall Quarter, it hosts over 1000 events per annum. Its mission, to foster and celebrate the appreciation, knowledge, enjoyment and pure love of music as an integral part of Irish life.
