Event Description
JEFF BALLARD is one of the standout jazz drummers of his generation, a humming engine of polyrhythm and an ace of earthy texture. He is best known for his work behind leaders like Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Joshua Redman, and Brad Mehldau.
Kate Ellis is a versatile musician dedicated to the performance and exploration of all new music. She is cellist and Artistic Director of Crash Ensemble – Ireland’s leading new music group.
Stephen James Smith is a Dublin poet and playwright central to the rise of the vibrant spoken word scene in Ireland today and has been a consistent front-runner of performance poetry for several years.
Jeff will perform a 30-40min set with each of these artists.

The Fumbally Stables is the sister of the Fumbally Cafe, set up as a space to expand their exploration into food, community and culture. The Stables plays host to EAT:ITH:CEOIL, the music and food element of the annual event series EAT:ITH.
