Patrice Brun is a French saxophonist, established in Ireland since the late 90’s, and has been an active member of the jazz scene since the early 2000’s, leading his own groups, and sharing the stage with Irish musicians such as Louis Stewart, Conor Guilfoyle, and The Stunning among others.

Purple Dayz’ is the latest project from renowned Irish jazz guitarist Hugh Buckley. On the night, he and the band will be performing the music from the brand new album release 'Hugh Buckley’s Purple Dayz'.

Starting out playing rock and roll guitar, Chadbourne quickly grew bored with the form's conventions, going on to study the blues, country, bluegrass, free jazz, and noise before synthesizing those heterogeneous influences into a unique style of his own.

This quartet brings together Irish guitarist John Moriarty and US pianist Randy Ingram, joined by bassist Dave Redmond and drummer Shane O’Donovan. The collaboration builds on a shared musical history, including Moriarty’s 2013 album Echoes (Lyte Records), which features Ingram on piano.

Grab a pizza and a pint and enjoy some live jazz provided by some of Dublin's finest musicians. Expect tunes by the likes of Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and Sun Ra.

Red Line Jazz are a hard-swinging quartet of Dublin professionals playing a repitoire of hard-bop, post-bop, and contemporary jazz. The band changes it up every week, but the vibe stays the same; serious swing, serious sound!

May 26th is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Miles Davis, one of the most important players, composers, and band leaders in jazz. While known as a trumpeter, Miles’ influence extends way beyond his instrument and on more than one occasion has shaped the direction of modern music. In celebration the octet is going to perform selections from two of his earlier masterpieces.

Our weekly jazz club curated by MOBO nominated drummer David Lyttle. The best Irish and International Jazz musicians, in the intimate setting of our upstairs bar. This week features Baptiste Herbin (FR).
