As the only national organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting Irish jazz, Jazz Ireland plays a vital role in connecting musicians, audiences, venues, festivals, and the wider arts community.

🔍 What We’re Looking For
We welcome individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, but we are especially interested in people with skills or experience in:
- Strategic and business planning
- Fundraising, sponsorship, and development
- Accounting or financial management
- Arts and culture administration
- Marketing, PR, or communications
- Non-profit governance
- Legal expertise
- Community engagement or education
You don’t need to be a musician — just someone with a passion for the arts and a desire to contribute meaningfully to Irish jazz.
📘 What the Role Involves
- Approximately three board meetings per year (online and/or in person)
- Occasional email discussions on strategy or decision-making
- Advising on specific areas where you have relevant expertise
- Helping identify opportunities for partnerships and funding
- Supporting Jazz Ireland’s mission to promote Irish jazz at home and abroad
This is a voluntary position with no financial remuneration.
