After celebrating the 10th anniversary of his groundbreaking album In the Moment, Makaya McCraven continues to push the boundaries of what we call jazz – inviting you on a journey through time, space, and culture. With his latest album, In These Times – the result of over seven years of relentless work – he presents a fusion of improvisation, innovative rhythms, and deep cultural references.

Red Line Jazz are a hard-swinging quartet of Dublin professionals playing a repitoire of hard-bop, post-bop, and contemporary jazz. The band changes it up every week, but the vibe stays the same; serious swing, serious sound!

A themed show celebrating the moon and the stars. Leading Sinatra exponent Sean Hession accompanied by talented jazz trio of pianist Myles Drennan, double-bassist Dave Fleming and Tom Dunne on drums, performs a lunchtime concert of moonlit, stellar classics, in the intimate setting of the John Field Room.

This quartet brings together Irish guitarist John Moriarty and US pianist Randy Ingram, joined by bassist Dave Redmond and drummer Shane O’Donovan. The collaboration builds on a shared musical history, including Moriarty’s 2013 album Echoes (Lyte Records), which features Ingram on piano.

For the past 60 years Mike Cooper has been an international artistic explorer constantly pushing the boundaries.

He plays lap steel guitar and sings, he is an improviser and composer, song-maker, a visual and installation artist; film and video maker and radio arts producer.

The Levy/Robson Quartet returns this May following their riveting tour of Italy and the UK last autumn, with the fruit of that tour, a new musical offering – a brand-new album filled with original tunes (Livia Records, May 2026). The quartet plays music penned by both Levy and Robson. The music is innovative and contemporary whilst remaining highly melodic and groovy, with a strong sense of tradition mixed in with the diverse characteristics of each composer.
