SJP has a track record of spotting global jazz talent long before the rest of the world catches up, and the SJP Allstars is where we let them all loose on one stage.Thirty world-class musicians. The Dirty Jazz club have been a massive part of the Dublin Jazz scene for around 15 years. Their focus is on the exploration and deconstruction of songs and an emphasis on creating a depth and textural soundscape on the melody, form and feel of the tunes.

120+ musicians. 20 ensembles. One massive, joyous afternoon. After a week of intensive workshops, our summer school players hit the stage for the grand finale, and the electricity in the room is unreal.

The Lounge Quartet have built up a strong following in their Sunday tenure at Walters. Delivering swinging standards from the Great American Songbook, this jazz band is sure to provide the ideal soundtrack to your chill out Sunday.

Organ Freeman – Irish jazz organ trio

Organ Freeman specialises in the music of the bebop and hard bop idioms of the early 1950s and 60s. Playing standards by composers such as Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, and many more in the classic organ trio format.

The grand finale. The victory lap. The send-off that'll have you walking home with your head in the clouds. Our SJP Little Big Band takes the stage for one night only, blasting through brand-new big band arrangements penned by our own faculty.

Join Pompe it Up for an evening of high-energy gypsy swing every Sunday at Mother Reilly’s Pub, Rathmines. This Dublin-based band brings the infectious rhythms of Django Reinhardt-style jazz to life in a cosy pub setting. Great music, good vibes, and the perfect Sunday soundtrack!
