Czech guitarist and composer Peter Moc and world-renowned contemporary jazz guitar icon Lage Lund recorded a guitar duet album “NATIVE SON” in Brooklyn, December 2016.
Lage Lund is now joining The Peter Moc Quartet to launch “NATIVE SON” in Dublin this December. This will be the very first chance that an Irish audience will be treated to a first performance of the album. As well as playing tracks from the new album the quartet will also play tracks from Lage Lund’s glittering musical career.
Norwegian born, Lage Lund is a New York City based artist, who at an early age graduated from Berklee college of Music and the Juilliard School of music. He also became a recipient of Jimi Hendrix award and a winner of Thelonious Monk International Jazz Guitar competition. As well as successfully releasing his original albums, Lage has worked with jazz superstars such as Wynton Marsalis, Mark Turner, Seamus Blake, David Sanchez.
