NOTIFY are an Irish based instrumental ensemble featuring the renowned concertina player Pádraig Rynne, Cillian King on guitars and vocals, Eoin Walsh on electric bass, Davie Ryan on drums and Cormac McCarthy on piano and Rhodes.
The band delivers an evocative repertoire of original compositions, produced with sensitive electronic overlays and inventive arrangements that are “cinematic in scope” (New York Echo).
NOTIFY seamlessly fuses a deep knowledge and respect for the Irish musical tradition with forward thinking innovation presented in a tasteful way that connects with audiences at home and overseas.
This line up of top ranked musicians from backgrounds in jazz, traditional Irish, electronic, pop and funk music has naturally established a system of balance that instantly draws listeners to the music.
NOTIFY released their first album in 2013 and it debuted at No 20 in the iTunes World music charts upon its release. In 2015, NOTIFY signed with world famous American jazz label Ropeadope.
The band’s last album, released in 2016, premiered at the No. 1 spot in the iTunes jazz charts and at No. 9 in the mainstream iTunes charts.
At the crossroads of a new movement in Irish music, NOTIFY breathes new life into their music, with a musical tapestry that ranges from soft melodies to crashing crescendos.

Venue Information - The Triskel Arts Centre
Triskel Arts Centre is a vibrant cultural HUB in the heart of Cork City and we celebrated 40 years in 2018. Our main auditorium Triskel Christchurch is a multidisciplinary space housed in a fully refurbished neoclassical Georgian Church.
This state of the art venue, which launched in 2011, is programmed with a rich bill of live music, with a focus on Classical and Jazz concerts, cultural cinema, visual art exhibitions and literary events. Triskel also runs a contemporary art room Triskel Gallery Space. Unique in Ireland, Theatre Development Centre is the only fulltime operation dedicated to the development of theatre, this is managed by Corcadorca Theatre Company.
